2gether ’08 & Reboot Britain

The Hay-on-Wye of Digital Reboot Britain tackles the challenges we face as a country in the digital age by bringing leading thinkers and practitioners together to debate, consider and decipher how technology can be used for good. A post-recession questioning of technological progress and social change, 800 people from around the UK come together to ask how we could and should Reboot Britain. Many more participate online and through the twittersphere. In partnership with Policy Unplugged and major sponsors NESTA and Channel4, we co-produced the event, creating the content with a network of technologists, policy people and practitioners. Leading speakers included Howard Rhinegold, Craig Newmark, Martha Lane Fox, Gillian Tett and Lee Bryant, with provocation papers in the Independent in the run up and we even made the cover of Wired. http://www.rebootbritain.com/
