Making films with young people

A community development campaign led by young people using broadcast and online media.

The project trains young people, creates small documentary teams who will tell the story of the Olympics, to eventually produce a feature length documentary film.

We think that the Olympics has huge potential to offer new hope to young East Londoners, including access to jobs, community development and regeneration of neighbourhoods.

Our films illustrate this potential and hope to catalyse this process so that it comes to fruition.

germination is also working with young people from Newham in an intensive media training and film-making project. In Guerilla 48 they will be create and film ‘random acts of kindness’ over a 48 hour period.
