Innovation in European Urban Challenges

As part of the Creative Cities programme run by the British Council, germination captured this event which brought people in Poland and Eastern Europe together to discuss how to successfully create social enterprises in emerging European markets.

The best UK and US social enterprise models were used to help shape new businesses. germination created a 24 hour newsroom for the 3 days of the event which produced podcasts, films and a running blog to capture and disseminate the information.

Participants included Michael Pyner from the Shoreditch Trust, Pawel Nizinski from Good Brand and Company, Tim Smit from the Eden Project and Blake Janelle, Founder of Philly Start-up Leaders and Missioneurs.
